connection,
by connecting through hearts.

From a young age, we learned the importance of caring for our community. Whenever we had nice clothes or toys, we would share them with our family in Cape Verde. But now, our vision extends beyond just our family and our Muslim community — we want to help all of Cape Verde.

As Cape Verdean Reverts, we aim to bridge the gap between misconceptions about Islam and the way we live our faith. Our goal is to dispel ignorance and present a genuine and positive image of our religion.

Currently, we provide food packages and other donations to those in need, offering support wherever we can. We strive to ease people’s burdens and assist with their daily necessities.

Looking ahead, we want to support schools and ensure that children have the opportunity to study, improving their futures and their communities. Many children lack school supplies, transportation, or the means to enroll. Some must work to survive, leaving no time for education.

In the end, it’s about more than just meeting immediate needs; it’s about sowing seeds of hope and empowerment for a brighter tomorrow. We believe in a future where every child in Cape Verde has the chance to learn and grow, where every family feels supported, and where our shared humanity and compassion shine through. Together, we can create a legacy of love, hope, and transformation that transcends generations.

Let's make a lasting difference, one act of kindness at a time.

project “São Vicente”

Last year, we raised funds to complete a mosque in São Vicente, providing a much-needed space for worship and community unity.
We also distributed food parcels to support struggling families, reinforcing our commitment to the Cape Verdean community.

Project “eid ul adha”

Before Eid Al Adha, we discovered that some families on the island of Sal couldn't afford to participate in the traditional animal sacrifice.
With €900 raised, we provided six animals to local mosques, ensuring the meat reached those in need, bringing joy and unity to the community.

the qur’an project

In Sal, we provided the Muslim community with €1500 worth of Qur'ans, teaching materials, and equipment like speakers and microphones to enhance their understanding and practice of Islam. This effort aims to empower the community through spiritual education and the spread of Islamic teachings.
