Policy Plan

Welcome to Al Wasilah, the foundation dedicated to connection! We are committed to serving our communities and achieving social goals. Here is an overview of our mission, vision, and core values:

Mission

At Al Wasilah, we believe that creating connections between people from different social classes is essential for fostering a healthy and cohesive society. We aim to help the community through fundraising and meeting their needs, while also contributing to a more connected society. Our foundation's core values are based on the principles of equality, justice, and brotherhood, which we strive for in all our activities. While we base our work on Islamic norms and values, our contributions apply to both Islamic and non-Islamic communities. Our goal is to bridge gaps in understanding our faith and ultimately contribute to a more cohesive society.

Vision

We are committed to achieving tangible change in quality of life over the next five years. We aim to structurally improve people's primary needs by setting up multiple prayer and educational institutions. Our long-term goal is to connect the larger community and integrate all essential elements to jointly strive for improving quality of life. Al Wasilah is a reliable and transparent foundation that acts as a connecting factor for society.

Core Values

  • Equality:** We promote equality and respect for all individuals, regardless of background, faith, or origin.

  • Justice:** Our commitment is based on fairness, justice, and ethical conduct.

  • Brotherhood:** We cherish a sense of community and solidarity between individuals and groups.

  • Voluntary Charity (Sadaqah):** Our activities are infused with voluntary charity, helping others without expecting anything in return.

  • Transparency:** We operate with integrity and openness, clearly communicating about our activities and finances.

  • Cohesion:** Our focus is on connecting people and communities for a cohesive society.

Goals

  • Facilitate basic needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter, for those in need.

  • Organize cultural events to strengthen community spirit.

  • Establish prayer and educational institutions to promote educational and spiritual growth.

  • Promote voluntary charity and awareness of Islamic values.

  • Contribute to a society based on equality, justice, and brotherhood.

  • Through our collective efforts and dedication, we believe Al Wasilah can positively impact our communities and the world around us. Together, we can create a better future and make a valuable contribution to the well-being of others.

Remuneration Policy

At Stichting Al Wasilah, we believe that ultimate reward comes from Allah SWT. Our volunteers and board members are committed with sincere hearts and expect their reward from Allah SWT for their dedication and contributions to our mission and goals. Both our volunteers and board members receive no financial compensation for their services. We strive to provide an environment that nurtures this spiritual conviction and where everyone's contribution is treated with respect and recognition.

This policy reflects our deep commitment to our religious values and the belief that a reward stemming from sincerity and generosity is more valuable than material compensation. Abstaining from financial rewards demonstrates our commitment to serving our community and prioritizing the well-being of others over personal gain. As an organization, we aim to create a culture where these noble principles are central, and where volunteers and board members feel valued for their invaluable contributions.

We recognize that volunteers and board members are valuable pillars of our foundation, and their dedication enables us to fulfill our mission. Therefore, we emphasize our commitment to supporting, guiding, and providing an environment where they can thrive and reach their potential. Our remuneration policy extends beyond material compensation to include creating opportunities for personal growth, fostering a sense of community, and strengthening spiritual connections.

With this remuneration policy, we affirm our commitment to an ethical approach to rewards and recognition, aligned with the values that are dear to us. We are determined to be an example of how a community-driven organization can flourish, driven by sincerity, compassion, and a deep-rooted belief in service to others and to Allah SWT.
